Where to get the PDF Viewer

Go to the www.adobe.com web site.

Click on the icon on the bottom RH side of the Adobe site and follow the instructions.

Downloading PDF Files

PDF files can be viewed on-line or downloaded and viewed/printed off-line. If you have a high speed link such as broadband cable or ADSL, you may be able to view the PDF files on-line.

If you have a modem connection, you will have to download the file first and then view it off-line.

To download a file using Internet Explorer, position the mouse over the PDF icon for the file you want to download. Click the RH mouse button and then click the "Save Target As..." menu item. A window will appear allowing you to select where to save the file.

Download Times

File sizes in Mbyte (M) are shown below each PDF icon.

If you have a 56K modem AND it is operating at full speed AND the Internet link is fast, download times can be estimated as follows:

1M will take approximately 2.5 minutes to download. In reality, you should multiply the times by 2 or 4.

If you have a broadband or other high speed link, download speeds will be much faster.
