A segment from the show "Towards 2000" broadcast on the ABC on 28 October, 1981, publicising a safety campaign on the danger of lightning, as well as work Telecom was doing at the time in protecting its "subscribers" (now customers) and equipment. The segment in the second half was shot in the lightning lab at TRL.

The conversion was done from a fragile u-matic tape, hence the poor quality at the start.
